I don’t use any of them. $700+ for a phone that costs more than a computer… no thanks.

They should perhaps be called Dumb Phones not Smart Phones, because only an idiot would pay $700 for something that will outdated in 6 months.
You can’t buy the iPhone by itself without a plan in the US. Here in Australia you can, and it costs $719 (AUD) outright, which equates to US$652. Still a heck of a lot of money for a phone. If I wanted a smart phone I’d probably get the Nokia N97 mini which is “only” $440-$480, still alot less than the iPhone but just about as good.
I’ve heard about this. Apparently since AT&T’s service is so bad, iphone users had more time for real human interaction.
